Prior to this role, Maurice served as a store manager at O'Reilly Auto Parts, where responsibilities included hiring, budgeting, and staff management, and at U-Haul Moving and Storage, where Maurice rapidly ascended to general manager. Maurice's military experience as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps further contributed to leadership skills. An alumnus of Auburn University at Montgomery, Maurice holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on IT and Decision Sciences.

Hyundai MOBIS forms the parts and service arm for South Korean automakers Hyundai Motor Company, Genesis Motors, and Kia Motors.
