John Schwegman

John Schwegman currently serves as the Executive Director of Fleet Sales and Operations at Hyundai Motor America since January 2024. Prior to this role, John held the position of Chief Commercial Officer at Mullen Automotive from September 2022 to January 2024. John's extensive experience at General Motors from 1988 to June 2022 includes several key leadership roles such as Senior Director of Global Chevrolet Product Marketing, where John led a comprehensive 10-year product plan and an aggressive Electric Vehicle strategy for Chevrolet. Additional significant contributions at GM involved establishing the Commercial portfolio, enhancing profitability by $1 billion, and spearheading successful marketing strategies across various vehicle lines that significantly increased market share and revenue. John holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Computer Science from Boston College.
