Daniele Vacca

Daniele Vacca is a seasoned automotive professional with extensive experience in electric vehicle (EV) engineering and diesel engine calibration. Currently serving as the Manager of the Charging Performance and Interoperability Team at Hyundai Motor Europe Technical Center GmbH since May 2014, Daniele oversees charging compatibility validation for Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis products across the European market. Earlier roles included Senior EV Engineer, where responsibilities encompassed project and budget management, as well as the development and validation of charging functionalities such as Plug and Charge and V2G. Prior to Hyundai, Daniele worked at FCA Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, focusing on diesel aftertreatment calibration, and at Centro Ricerche Fiat, specializing in the calibration of diesel engines to meet emission standards. Daniele holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Torino and has pursued additional education in team dynamics and human resources.
