Oliver Schmid

Oliver Schmid is a Senior Engineer Circular Economy at Hyundai Motor Europe Technical Center GmbH. Prior to this role, Oliver worked as a Material Compliance Manager at HELLA where Oliver was in charge of ensuring product compliance with legal substance restrictions and prohibitions, as well as leading global IMDS/CAMDS activities. With a background in environmental management, Oliver has also worked as an environmental management specialist at HELLA and completed a diploma thesis on implementing the REACh regulation at an automotive supplier. Oliver started their career as an intern at URS Corporation and also held a part-time job at Fenthol & Sandtmann during school. Oliver holds a degree in Geoecology from the University of Tübingen.
