Timo Schöning has a diverse work experience in the automotive industry. Timo started their career in 2003 as an intern in the Crashtest Department at TÜV Kraftfahrt GmbH. In 2005, they worked as an Intern Project Manager at DaimlerChrysler Thailand Ltd. Later that year, they joined FH Köln as a student assistant in the physical laboratory and the vehicle systems engineering laboratory. In 2006, they worked as a Diplomand in Global Vehicle Dynamics at Ford Forschungszentrum Aachen GmbH.
In 2007, Timo Schöning joined GTV Fahrzeugdynamik as a Development Engineer in Chassis Development. Timo worked there until 2012, gaining experience in Fahrwerkentwicklung.
Since 2012, Timo Schöning has been associated with Hyundai Motor Europe Technical Center GmbH. Timo has held various roles in the company, starting as a Senior Engineer in the Steering & Suspension Department. Timo then progressed to become a Group Manager for Vehicle Dynamics and later became the Head of Section for Driving Performance. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Department for Chassis.
