You could say that the title “doctor” is in Courtney Weem’s blood. Her grandfather, Bliss Weems, was the town doctor of Waynesboro, Virginia and he practiced during a time when doctors were not only doctors, but pillars of their communities providing support that went beyond medical expertise. It was instilled in Courtney at an early age how a doctor should treat their patients, families, and greater communities: by taking the time to truly get to know each individual and invest in intimate, personal relationships.
Courtney spends the necessary time with you and your children to create a personalized care plan, which she marries with her personal experience as a parent. She provides her patients with practical solutions, resources, approaches, and preventive measures to keep your family happy and healthy. Courtney holds a prestigious list of credentials that include Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and Health System Clinician Educator at Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University. She is certified under the American Board of Pediatrics and completed her Pediatrics Residency at the University of Chicago. Outside of work, Courtney loves spending time with her family; two rambunctious toddler boys and two teenage girls. She does her best to find time for herself too.
