Jesse Mueller

Jesse Mueller has over a decade of experience in various engineering roles. Currently, Jesse works as a Lead Software Controls Engineer at Hyzon Motors, where they are involved in the design and development of control systems for Hydrogen Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles. They utilize software compiling tools like MATLAB Simulink and version control systems like Bitbucket and JIRA for task management. Jesse also has experience with reverse engineering OEM vehicle diagnostic systems using tools like Vector CANalyzer, CANoe, and Kvaser.

Prior to Hyzon Motors, Jesse worked as a Powertrain Design and Development Engineer at Drivetrain Systems International Pty Ltd, focusing on automotive powertrain mechatronics, transmission design, and CAD modeling using Siemens NX. They also managed model and drawing release with Team Centre PLM.

Earlier in their career, Jesse worked as a Commissioning Engineer for Tenova and as a Mechanical/Electrical Engineering Contractor. They also held roles as a Wind Energy Project Engineer at EPYC Pty Ltd, a Project Engineer at H.I.Fraser Pty Ltd, a Design Verification & Test Engineer at Sandvik Mining and Construction, a Lead Project Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical) at Fanquip, and a Graduate Engineer at TUNRA Bulk Solids.

Jesse Mueller holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Newcastle, which was completed between 2006 and 2010. They later pursued a Master of Engineering Science in Mechanical Engineering at UNSW, completing it from 2013 to 2014. From 2014 to 2015, Jesse obtained a Postgraduate Diploma of Engineering in Electrical Power Engineering from the University of Southern Queensland. In 2011 to 2012, Jesse studied at TAFE NSW, earning an Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering. They also obtained a Diploma of Modern Languages in German Language and Literature from the University of New England (AU) in 2015. Furthermore, Jesse has a certification in Electrical obtained from Holmesglen (obtained year not provided).
