Mathieu Willemsen Ra

Mathieu Willemsen RA has over a decade of experience in various roles in accounting, risk management, and assurance. Mathieu began their career as a Senior at KPMG Nederland in 2008 and worked their way up to Manager and Assistant Manager roles. During this time, they gained experience in project audits, group audits, and collaborated with experts in various fields. In 2011, Mathieu joined the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen as a Universitair Docent, teaching Internal Control and coordinating a master's course. Mathieu then moved on to Abbott Logistics BV in 2014, where they worked as a Risk & Compliance Officer Finance and a Senior Specialist in Risk Management & Assurance. In 2017, they became a Bestuurslid at Stichting Pensioenfonds Abbott Nederland, serving as a board member until 2022. From 2019 to 2022, Mathieu worked as the Manager of Risk Management & Assurance at Abbott Logistics B.V. Mathieu'smost recent role starting in 2022 is Director of Accounting at Hyzon Motors.

Mathieu Willemsen RA has a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy from Hanzehogeschool Groningen / Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen, which was obtained in 2002. In 2005, they completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Accountancy & Controlling from the University of Groningen. Mathieu then pursued a Post-master degree in Accountancy at the University of Groningen from 2006 to 2008. Finally, they completed their education with the Praktijkopleiding Registeraccountancy, earning the RA qualification from 2006 to 2011.
