Christoph Hagemeyer is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in the field of biomedical imaging. Currently serving as the Director of Monash Biomedical Imaging, Christoph provides strategic leadership while overseeing research initiatives and collaborations. As a Professor and Laboratory Head at Monash University, Christoph focuses on targeted drug delivery and molecular imaging, mentoring PhD students and research teams. Additional roles include Monash Node Director for the National Imaging Facility and the Victorian Biomedical Imaging Capability, as well as Principal Investigator at the Monash-Helmholtz Laboratory for Radio-Immuno-Theranostics. Christoph's contributions to the medical research community are further highlighted by a senior research fellowship with the National Health and Medical Research Council and previous leadership positions, including President of Baker IDI Heart and Diabetes Institute. With a strong academic foundation including a Ph.D. from the University of Freiburg, Christoph Hagemeyer continues to drive advancements in biomedical research and technology.
