Mailet Lopez

Mailet Lopez is a seasoned entrepreneur with extensive experience in digital communication and community support for cancer patients. As the founder of I Had Cancer since August 2011, Mailet Lopez established a web-based platform that connects cancer survivors, fighters, and their families for mutual support. In addition to this role, Mailet Lopez has co-founded Squeaky Wheel Media, an award-winning digital communication agency in New York City, specializing in web design, social media, and branding since 2001. Furthermore, Mailet Lopez serves as a founding member of Komuna, a co-op network aimed at supporting independent BIPOC, women, and LGBTQ+ led agencies. Mailet Lopez holds a degree from Hofstra University.
