Derrek Long is the Co-founder of I Heart Travel, a company dedicated to getting people out exploring their surroundings for a happier and healthier life. With experience as CTO/Co-founder at CareRev, connecting healthcare professionals with flexible shifts, and as VP Engineering at Stela, Derrek has a strong background in technology and innovation. With previous roles as Chief Technology Officer and Software Architect, Derrek has demonstrated expertise in the tech industry. Graduating with a BS in Chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Derrek combines a passion for science and technology in their work.
