Barrie McAlister currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and Director of Operations at I.J. & Jeanné Wagner Jewish Community Center since January 2021. Prior roles include Director of Operations & Facilities at Stroum Jewish Community Center of Greater Seattle and Senior Regional Director at BBYO. McAlister has extensive experience in managing operations across various organizations, including Brighton Rehabilitation and Sahara, Inc., focusing on project management and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders. Previous engineering roles at Howard S. Wright Constructors contributed to significant achievements, such as LEED Gold Certification for a data center facility. McAlister holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Regional & Economic Development from the University of Arizona.

We are nestled in the foothills of Salt Lake City just across the street from the University of Utah Hospital and Primary Children's Hospital. Unlike some of the site's past tenants, the JCC welcomes all — not just the Jewish Community.
