Kari Välimäki

Kari Välimäki has a diverse work experience in the field of IT. Kari started their career as an IT Support at JohnsonDiversey in 2002, where they provided technical support to end users and developed Intranet applications. In 2005, they joined Eilakaisla as a System Administrator, where they administrated and developed a server monitoring application for Windows, UNIX, and Linux servers. Kari then transitioned to Nokia in 2006, initially working as a System Administrator on the internal hosting department, implementing and administrating various systems. In 2009, they became an Integration Specialist at Nokia, assisting projects with infra planning, deployment models, and requirement management. After spending ten years abroad, they left Nokia in 2010 to join Ilkka as an IT Specialist, later promoted to IT Development Manager.

Kari Välimäki completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a specialization in Information Technology, focusing on computer networks, from Turku University of Applied Sciences. Kari attended the university from 2000 to 2003. In addition to their formal education, Kari has obtained certifications including Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in February 2020 and Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) RHEL 5 from Red Hat.
