Will Gore

Will Gore is currently the Managing Editor at The i Paper, a role they have held since 2025. With nearly 25 years of experience in the news media industry, Will's career began in press regulation before they transitioned to senior newsroom roles at the Evening Standard and The Independent, where they served as Executive Editor. Since 2019, Will has been leading projects and partnership development for the National Council for the Training of Journalists (NCTJ), including managing the Meta-funded Community News Project and expanding the Journalism Diversity Fund. Additionally, they contribute as a columnist for The Independent and serve as an alternate member of the IPSO complaints committee. Will is recognized for promoting quality journalism and possesses strong communication and problem-solving skills.
