Will McGrew has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. In 2018, they founded TÉLÉ LOUISIANE, a production company and distribution platform focused on Louisiana's languages and cultures. Will successfully secured $500,000 in public and private funding for local Louisiana job creation. In 2023, they became the President of École Pointe-au-Chien and Vice-President for Policy and Economic Development at L'Assemblée de la Louisiane. Will also served as a Board Member at Alliance Française de La Nouvelle-Orléans since 2020. Prior to these roles, Will worked as an Economic Analyst at the University of California, Berkeley, Texas A&M University, and Princeton University. Will was also a Research Fellow at the Jain Family Institute and a Research Assistant at the Washington Center for Equitable Growth. Earlier in their career, they were a Research Assistant at Yale Law School, conducting research on economic inequality, civil rights law, and labor markets.
Will McGrew earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics & Political Science from Yale University from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they studied Arabic Language at the Center for Language and Culture in Marrakech, Morocco in 2013, and at the Qasid Institute in Amman, Jordan in 2012. Will completed their high school education at Benjamin Franklin High School in New Orleans, Louisiana from 2009 to 2013.
