Institute of Occupational Medicine (IOM)
William Mueller is an experienced statistician currently working at the Institute of Occupational Medicine since January 2017, specializing in designing and analyzing occupational and environmental health projects. Previously, William served as a research assistant at Imperial College London, contributing to a cohort study on mobile phones and cognition in adolescents and performing epidemiological analyses. William has also held positions at the Radiation Effects Research Foundation and the Caribbean Public Health Agency, focusing on cancer incidence in atomic bomb survivors and violence and injury surveillance in the Caribbean, respectively. Additional experience includes work as an oversight analyst at Waste Diversion Ontario, a graduate assistant at Ryerson University, a junior environment specialist at the Canadian International Development Agency, and an English teacher. William holds a Master’s Degree in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and a Master of Applied Science in Environmental Science from Ryerson University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from McMaster University.
