Ron Cavil

Ron Cavil has a diverse range of experience in the IT industry. Ron is currently the Director of IT at IPAP, where they have been working since 2020. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at IPAP from 2020 to 2023.

Before joining IPAP, Ron worked at various companies, including Endries International, HSHS Medical Group, TEKsystems, MultiPlan, Kitchen Fresh Foods, Plexus, and New Reach. Their roles at these companies included Programmer, Systems Analyst, Programmer/Analyst, PL/SQL Developer, and Program Manager.

Throughout their career, Ron has specialized in programming languages such as Progress, ASP.Net, C#, PHP, JavaScript, and PL/SQL. Ron has also worked with databases such as SQL Server, AS/400, Firebird, FoxPro, and MySQL. Ron has experience in developing and modifying in-house systems, as well as implementing system changes to support business growth. Ron has also been responsible for managing data on SQL and MySQL servers. Additionally, Ron has expertise in hardware and software management for barcode printers and handheld units.

Ron Cavil completed an Associate's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton, WI, from 2013 to 2020. Ron also obtained additional certifications, including a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance in October 2023 and completed courses on Designing RESTful APIs and Introduction to Web APIs from LinkedIn in 2020.
