Sylvain Picot has a strong background in entrepreneurship and leadership in the medical device industry. In 2005, they founded Biom'up, a company specializing in surgical implants, and served as the President, CEO, and Director. Under their leadership, the company experienced significant growth, expanding to over 50 employees and establishing subsidiaries in the USA and DACH. Sylvain was responsible for various aspects of the business, including team structuring, product development and registration, manufacturing, finance, and marketing. Sylvain received several recognitions, including NOVACITE labelling, Network Enterprise Laureate, and the National Entrepreneurship Assistance Contest. In 2015, Sylvain embarked on a new venture as the President and CEO, and co-founder of i-SEP.
Sylvain Picot's education history begins in 1996 when they attended INSA Lyon - Institut National des Sciences Appliquées de Lyon. Sylvain completed their studies in 2002 and earned a Diplôme d'ingénieur and a Master of Sciences in Biochemistry.
In 2000, Sylvain also pursued further education at Université Laval, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Biochemistry, completing their studies in 2001.
Later, in 2003, Sylvain enrolled at emlyon business school for the Master Entreprendre / Programme d'appui à la création. Sylvain concluded their program in 2004, specializing in Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurial Studies.
