Alexandra Benchoua is currently the Directrice de recherche at I-Stem, where they lead teams focused on neuroplasticity and therapeutics as well as research and technological innovation. They completed a PhD in Neurobiology and Neurosciences at Université Paris VI Pierre et Marie Curie from 2000 to 2002. Prior to their current role, they served as a post-doctoral fellow at CEA-CNRS URA 2210, where they studied cellular mechanisms of neuronal degeneration in Huntington's disease, and at ISCR Edinburgh, investigating the conversion of pluripotent stem cells into neural cells.
