Thomas Retornaz, PhD, is a seasoned Software Research and Development Engineer currently working at i-Virtual since April 2024, specializing in the industrialization of R&D prototypes that extract physiological data from video selfies using C, C++, Python, and OpenCV. Previously, from January 2020 to March 2024, Thomas served as a Senior Development Engineer in Machine Learning at MyScript, where responsibilities included integrating DeepLearning frameworks into legacy SDKs and optimizing deeplearning models. Thomas has extensive experience from Mitek Systems, formerly A2iA, from October 2007 to August 2019, holding roles as a Senior Development Engineer and R&D Manager focusing on the industrialization of machine learning and image processing prototypes.
