Arun Prasad Raman

Arun Prasad Raman has a diverse background in various industries. Most recently, they have been working at i2o Retail as Vice President - Products, Data Science, and Head of India Ops since April 2022. In this role, they are responsible for providing a platform for brands on Amazon to grow their sales profitably. Arun Prasad oversees the Retail Advisor platform, which offers modules such as Brand Protector to monitor and remove unauthorized resellers.

Prior to their current role, Arun worked at Goldman Sachs from January 2016 to March 2022 as Vice President, Data Engineering. In this position, they led the central data engineering and BI group, implementing end-to-end BI architecture and increasing data literacy within the organization. Arun Prasad utilized technologies such as MS-SQL, MemSQL, Snowflake, Alteryx, Alloy, PURE, Python, and Tableau.

Before Goldman Sachs, Arun worked at Mu Sigma Inc. from 2009 to 2015 in various roles. As an Account Manager from May 2013 to July 2015, they managed relationships with clients in the grocery, health & beauty, and online retail sectors. Arun Prasad also served as an Engagement Manager from February 2010 to May 2013, where they worked on projects in CRM, finance, trading, and customer analytics for various clients. Additionally, they held the role of Delivery Manager from June 2009 to January 2010.

Earlier in their career, Arun worked at Oracle as a Principal Consultant, Retail Optimization from July 2005 to June 2009, and at the National Stock Exchange of India Limited as a Graduate Trainee from July 2004 to June 2005.

Arun Prasad Raman completed their M.Sc in Economics and B.E in Electronics & Instrumentation from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, from 2000 to 2005. Additionally, they obtained the Alteryx Core Certified certification from Alteryx in September 2018.
