Chris Sherwin's work experience begins in 2003 at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they worked as an Electrical Engineer in the Physical Sciences Laboratory. Their responsibilities included developing custom instrumentation equipment and data collection software for the ICECUBE project, as well as consulting on the development of high-power, ultra-compact power supplies and motor controls for the DISC project.
In 2005, Sherwin transitioned to Minarik Corporation as a Design Engineer. Chris collaborated with customers, sales, and manufacturing to develop custom and off-the-shelf motor controls. Their tasks included circuit design and layout, as well as prototyping and verification.
Moving on, in 2008, Sherwin joined Design Concepts as a Senior Electrical Engineer. Chris demonstrated a broad range of skills in product design, from hardware to software and firmware development. Their areas of expertise included embedded system design, motor control, batteries, and power conversion.
Starting in 2014, Sherwin joined AccuWeb, Inc. and held various roles throughout their tenure. Initially, they served as a Research and Development Engineer, focusing on new product research and design. This encompassed the development of Ultrasonic sensors, brushless motor controls, precision analog circuits, and firmware development for embedded control systems and industrial CAN networks. Later, they became the Research and Development Manager, responsible for overseeing R&D projects. Finally, Sherwin assumed the position of Director of Manufacturing and R&D, where they led manufacturing and research efforts.
Recently, in 2022, Sherwin joined i3 Product Development as the Electrical Engineering Manager.
Chris Sherwin completed a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville from 1997 to 2003. It is also mentioned that they obtained a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from the same institution, but the dates of completion are not provided.
