James Grogan

James Grogan has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. James started their career as a Network Administrator and Web Developer at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse in 1997. After that, they worked as a Programmer Analyst at CUNA Mutual Group in 2000. In the same year, they joined UW Credit Union, where they held various roles such as Lead Internet Systems Developer, Internet Systems Architect, and Internet Services Manager. In 2015, they joined InForm Product Development as the Director of Software Development. In 2020, James became the CEO and Partner at Cygnus, where they successfully launched and grew a SaaS offering supporting IoT devices in the field. James then moved on to i3 Product Development, where they served as the Director of IoT, Partner. Eventually, i3 and Cygnus were acquired by Helios Technologies, and James is currently the General Manager of the Cygnus SaaS platform business within Helios.

James Grogan completed their Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, where they studied from 1994 to 2000. James also pursued Undergraduate Studies at Marquette University from 1994 to 1995. Later on, James attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2008 to 2013 and obtained a degree in Business with a focus on Small Business and Agile Project Management.
