Duncan Halliday is an experienced professional in the shipping and offshore sector, currently serving as the Director of Shipping & Offshore at Pole Star Global since November 2023. Prior to this role, Duncan worked at Lloyd's Register as a Business Development Specialist from November 2020 to September 2023 and held the position of Business Development Director at AXSMarine from May 2019 to November 2020. Duncan's extensive tenure at Pole Star Space Applications, which spanned from 2004 to 2019, included roles as Global Head of Sales for Shipping and Offshore, Head of Shipping and Offshore, and various positions in sales management. Earlier career experiences include sales roles at Ship Technology and Thomas Cook. Duncan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Ocean Sciences from Bangor University, earned between 1995 and 1998.
