John McManamon

John McManamon has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 1984 as a Programmer at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. John then moved on to Digital Equipment Corporation as a Technical Support Specialist in 1987. From 1992 to 2003, they worked at ESI Technology Inc. as a Software Engineering Manager, and then moved to abcISP Inc. in San Diego, CA as Vice President of VHA/MUMPS Development. In 2006, they were an Independent Consultant (self employed) working on a project for the Iowa Foundation Medical Center. From 2007 to 2013 they were an Application Development Consultant at Coventry Healthcare, and then an App Developer at Aetna from 2014 to 2016. In 2018, they were hired by i4DM as a Senior Software Developer Team Lead to transition over to a new team working on the same project for the Veterans Administration. Finally, in 2022 they began working at D3 Information Services, LLC as an OpenVista/FileMan Consulting Project.

John McManamon obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Anna Maria College between 1982 and 1986. John then went on to earn two Master's degrees in Computer Science from Boston College and Boston College Carroll School of Management between 1989 and 1991.
