Jakob Giesecke

Jakob Giesecke is currently the VP, Tech, Strategy & Growth at i5invest. Prior to this, they were the Head of Product at Playbrush from September 2021 to July 2022. Before that, they were the Corporate Development Manager at iSi Automotive Group from September 2015 to September 2021 where they were responsible for strategic long-term planning and business modelling for the iSi Automotive Group. Jakob has also managed business transformation initiatives to improve the operating model and optimize tools and processes within the global setup. From January 2015 to September 2015, Jakob was a Project Manager Operations at ZKW. Prior to that, they were an Industrial Engineer at Lohnerwerke GmbH from January 2014 to July 2014. Jakob has also worked as a Legal Expert at SONN Patentanwälte OG from December 2012 to March 2014 and as a Hydraulic Engineer at Voith Hydro from August 2012 to September 2012. Jakob started their professional career as the Personal Assistant to the Group Environmental Manager at Mondi Group from October 2009 to January 2012.

Jakob Giesecke has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technische Universität Wien, and a Master's in Business Administration from INSEAD. Jakob also has a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de València.

They are on a team with Gerald Kollitsch - Head of Business Development Operations, Diego Graneros - Director of Corporate Development, and Daniel Harari - Partner. Jakob Giesecke reports to Herwig Springer, CEO.
