Corporate Mine Engineer at i-80 Gold

Trevor Jones has been working in the mining industry since 2012. Trevor began their career as a Maintenance Engineering Intern at Small Mine Development, LLC in 2012. In 2013, they worked as a Surveying and Engineering Intern at the same company. In 2014, they interned at Premier Magnesia, LLC. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at Juniper Mining, LLC as a Mine Engineer. During this time, they performed resource recalculation, project feasibility re-evaluation, and mine-model-mill reconciliation for the Golden Chest mine. Trevor also coordinated and performed development, production, and stockpile surveys. From 2015 to 2017, they also worked at Klondex Mines Ltd. as a Short Range Planner. During this time, they implemented Deswik software as the preferred mine scheduling tool at Midas and developed weekly short-range plans, 3 month rolling forecasts, and Life-of-Mine forecasts for the 450 tpd Midas operation. In 2017, they began working at SSR Mining Inc. as a Mine Engineer. Trevor is currently employed at i-80 Gold Corp as a Corporate Mine Engineer.

Trevor Jones attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University from 2009 to 2012, where they studied Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering. Trevor then transferred to the University of Nevada, Reno, where they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering in 2014. In May 2013, they obtained an Engineering Intern certification from the Nevada State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
