Tommy Carroll

Tommy Carroll has a diverse work experience spanning from 2011 to 2022. Tommy began their career as a Teach for America Corps Member, where they focused on addressing the unique needs of underserved students and their families. Tommy then worked as an Educator at Ramallah Friends School, where they ran an SAT Prep Academy for Palestinian students.

In 2014, Tommy joined Main Street Genome as the Manager of Market Development before moving on to a role as a Product Operations Associate at Coursera in 2016. Tommy then joined Moment as a Design Intern in 2017.

In 2018, Tommy had roles at both Capital One as a Principal Associate, Experience Designer and R/GA as an Associate Experience Designer. At R/GA, they worked their way up to Senior Experience Designer and worked with Airbnb on a project.

In 2021, Tommy joined Proto as a Senior Experience Consultant before being promoted to Associate Director, Experience Consulting. Currently, they are working as an Associate Director, Interaction Design at IA Collaborative since 2022.

Throughout their career, Tommy has demonstrated a strong ability to design and deliver impactful experiences while utilizing their creativity and interpersonal skills.

Tommy Carroll's education history includes attending the VCU Brandcenter for a Master of Science degree in Business/Branding, the University of Georgia for a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs, the University of Oxford for studies in Public & International Affairs, and Chaminade University of Honolulu for a Master of Arts degree in Teaching with a focus on Special Education and Teaching.
