Alain Bergeron

Alain Bergeron is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in leading IT transformation initiatives. Currently serving as Senior Vice-President and Chief Information Officer at Industrial Alliance Insurance and Financial Services since May 2020, Alain drives the organization's digital transformation program. Previous roles include Senior Vice President for IT Delivery at National Bank of Canada, where oversight of application development and a large team was key, and Vice President of IT Solutions and Operations at BDC, focusing on technology transformation across diverse business lines. Earlier career highlights include Vice President at CGI, managing the Montreal Global Delivery Center, and founding Myriap, where Alain directed strategic projects and budget management. Alain holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from UQAM.
