Penny Rietschel

Penny Rietschel is a seasoned professional in the field of interior architecture and design, currently serving as Project Director at IA Interior Architects since August 2025. Previously, Penny held the role of Regional Business Operations Manager at Ware Malcomb from April 2024 to August 2025 and served as Studio Director at Gensler from November 2021 to April 2023. Penny's extensive experience at NELSON Worldwide includes positions as Program Manager, Regional Global Solutions Platform Leader for the Central-West, Market Leader, and Regional Director of Operations, overseeing multiple offices across the Central Region. Prior experience also includes roles at Gensler and KRJ Design Group as Studio Director, Project Manager, and Designer, with a foundational start as a Facilities Planner at Applied Materials. Penny earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from The University of Texas at Austin and was Valedictorian at Ecole Classique.
