Fredrik Borestrom has had a diverse and extensive work experience. Fredrik has held various roles at different companies over the years.

Fredrik started their career in 2006 as a Sales Manager Europe at Glenayre Messaging. Later, they worked at EuroNews as an International Sales Manager and then as an International Account Director. In 2010, they became an Account Director at Eurosport.

In 2011, Borestrom joined Odyssey Mobile Interaction as the Director of New Business, Global. During their time there, the company was acquired by Phunware, and they continued to work as the VP & Head of Global Sales - Advertising for Phunware until 2015.

In 2016, Borestrom served as a Non-Executive Director at Groupr, a private photo sharing app. Fredrik also became an Agency Partner Lead EMEA at LinkedIn.

From 2017 to 2018, Borestrom held the position of Vice President and then President at the International Advertising Association UK Chapter - IAA UK. Fredrik was responsible for leading the board and committees and delivering value to members and partners through events and professional development.

In 2018, Borestrom became a member of the Steering committee for Effie UK at Effie Worldwide, which recognizes marketing communication that contributes to a brand's success.

Fredrik returned to LinkedIn in 2018 as the Interim Head of LinkedIn Marketing Solutions DACH, leading the advertising business in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Fredrik then became the Head of Agency, International, and is currently serving as the Director of International Agency EMEA & LATAM.

In 2022, Borestrom joined the International Advertising Association as the Senior Vice President.

Throughout their career, Borestrom has shown a strong focus on advertising and sales, with a particular emphasis on digital and mobile platforms.

Fredrik Borestrom has a BSc. degree in Industrial Economics from the University of Skövde, which they obtained between 1997 and 2001. Prior to that, they attended Hvitfeldska from 1993 to 1996, where they studied International Business.
