Icae Joey Zhang

Joey Zhang has a diverse work experience in various industries. Starting in 2009, they worked as a Business Development Executive at Publicis, where they participated in new business pitches, conducted research, and assisted in project implementation. From 2011 to 2013, Joey was a Co-Founder at RAY STUDIO, responsible for business operations and project management. Joey then joined MR-ProFun in 2013 as a Business Planning Analyst before becoming a Senior Manager in Operations Planning, where they specialized in attraction and theme park industry consulting. In 2018, Joey joined the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) as a Manager, and eventually served as Director and Senior Director in the China Office. In their roles at IAAPA, they were responsible for building awareness, launching promotional campaigns, and managing the Asia Pacific Shanghai Office.

Joey Zhang, ICAE, completed a Bachelor of Administration in International Business from Shanghai University of International Business and Economics between 2006 and 2010. In addition to their degree, Zhang obtained certifications in the field of project management, including a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in September 2016. Joey also received the IAAPA Certified Attractions Executive designation from the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) in February 2021.
