KC Doreste, CMP has extensive experience in event planning and management. KC is currently working as the Senior Director of Meetings and Special Events for the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA). Prior to this, they served as the Trade Shows & Events Sr. Planner for Visit Orlando, where they planned and executed high-profile tradeshows, meetings, and global marketing events. KC also worked as a Planning Manager for BCD Meetings and Events and as an Independent Meeting Professional, where they gained skills in logistical planning and execution. KC was previously the Manager of the Meetings and Events Department at BCD Travel/Darden Restaurants, responsible for managing a team of meeting planners and designing and implementing over 100 programs annually. KC has also held roles at Publicis Meetings USA, Key Meetings & Events, and Groups and Meetings at Worldtravel BTI, where they built and managed departments and provided support for corporate events. KC started their career at WorldTravel BTI as a Group and Meetings Manager and Group Travel Specialist. Throughout their career, KC has demonstrated expertise in budgeting, vendor management, and client relations.

KC Doreste, CMP attended the Southeastern Academy of Travel and Tourism in 1990, where they obtained a degree in Tourism and Travel Services Management. In August 2017, they also obtained additional certifications as a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) from both the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) institution and the Events Industry Council.
