Laura Domet

Laura Domet is currently a Coordinator for Global Professional Development at IAAPA, where responsibilities include supporting initiatives, coordinating webcasts, and assisting with the Brass Ring Awards program. Prior roles include serving as a Professional Development Intern at IAAPA and working as a nanny for different families, providing care for infants and young children while fostering their development. Laura has experience as an Elementary Tutor at One Brain Learning Center, where academic materials were reviewed and individualized goals set. Additionally, Laura managed a staff of 20 as General Manager at Noodles & Company, overseeing recruitment and training. Earlier academic involvement includes serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, contributing to a research team focused on child development. Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and is pursuing a Master of Arts in Applied Learning and Instruction at the University of Central Florida.
