Alexander Solodov

Senior Systems Project Engineer

Alexander Solodov is currently a Senior Systems Project Engineer at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), a position they have held since 2022. Prior to this, they were an R&D Scientist focusing on Systems Research and Analysis at Sandia National Laboratories from 2017 to 2022, and an Assistant Professor at Khalifa University from 2013 to 2017. They began their career as an Associate Research Engineer at Texas A&M University from 2011 to 2013, and have extensive experience in R&D at Oak Ridge National Laboratory from 2006 to 2011. Alexander earned a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2007, and holds an Engineering degree in Nondestructive Assay of Materials from Ural State Technical University, completing their studies in 2001.
