Marta Ferrari

Marta Ferrari currently serves as the Head of Section in Operations for Safeguards at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), leading a team of inspectors and managing safeguards activities across various countries. With a strong background in business development and strategic partnerships as demonstrated in a prior role at Orano, Ferrari also mentors changemakers at Ashoka and contributes to sustainability projects. Previously, Ferrari managed the IAEA Low Enriched Uranium Bank Project, overseeing a significant budget and ensuring effective implementation of nuclear supply mechanisms. With advanced degrees in Physics and International Relations, along with executive training from INSEAD, Ferrari combines expertise in nuclear energy with a commitment to environmental sustainability and international collaboration.
