Stéphanie de Sio

Stéphanie De Sio is a Nuclear Safeguards Inspector at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) since April 2020, previously serving as R&D Project Manager in radiochemistry and spent nuclear fuel reprocessing at Orano from December 2014 to June 2018. With a robust academic background, including a Ph.D. from Université Montpellier II focused on separation science related to the nuclear fuel cycle, Stéphanie has extensive experience in managing R&D projects and developing expertise in solvent extraction processes. Stéphanie has contributed to significant research at Argonne National Laboratory and CEA Marcoule, and has been recognized for academic excellence, including participation in the 2012 ENEN PhD Event. Professional roles have involved technical support, project management, and supervision of graduate students, as well as international presentation and publication of research findings.
