Younes El Abbari

Younes EL ABBARI is a seasoned professional in the field of nuclear security and radioactive waste management, currently serving as a Nuclear Security Officer at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) since April 2019. Prior to this role, Younes worked as a Radioactive Waste Management Specialist at the National Centre of Nuclear Energy, Sciences and Technologies (CNESTEN) from November 2009 to April 2019, where responsibilities included the transportation, treatment, and conditioning of radioactive waste. Younes holds a Master’s Degree in Physical Chemistry of Materials and a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical and Biological Methods of Analysis from the University IBN TOFAIL in Kénitra, as well as a diploma in Chemical Engineering from the High School of Technology in Fes.
