Dr. Jamshid Dehmeshki

Dr. Jamshid Dehmeshki has extensive work experience in the field of medical image analysis and AI. Dr. Jamshid currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at IAG, Image Analysis Group, where they lead a team of developers in the ongoing development of the Dynamika Cloud Platform, a software solution for the management and analysis of medical images in clinical trials. Before joining IAG in 2020, Dr. Dehmeshki worked as a Professor of medical image analysis and AI at Kingston University, where they taught various modules related to pattern recognition, neural networks, image processing, and computer graphics.

Dr. Dehmeshki also worked as a Senior Developer and Consultant, specializing in the development of Computer Aided Diagnosis (CAD) software products. During this time, they worked with several clients and utilized the Medical Image Processing Library (MIPL), a rich .NET library of optimized 3D image processing algorithms for medical imaging and data analysis applications.

Prior to their consultancy work, Dr. Dehmeshki served as the Chief Technology Officer and Director of Research & Development at Medicsight. In this role, they were responsible for delivering the company's core medical image processing products and managing image processing testing. Dr. Jamshid was also involved in the design and analysis of projects related to lung, colon, and heart CAD, as well as clinical and academic validation.

Earlier in their career, Dr. Dehmeshki worked as a Lecturer and Senior Research Fellow at the University College London, Institute of Neurology NMR unit, and as a Research Fellow at the CIMI Centre for Industrial and Medical Informatics.
