Simon Scott

Simon Scott has over three decades of experience in release management and operations support within the technology and insurance sectors. Currently serving as a Release Specialist at IAG New Zealand since April 2011, Simon oversees the planning and deployment of application releases for multiple brands, including NZI and State, while integrating with Agile delivery methodologies. Previously, Simon held positions as a Contract Release Manager at TOWER Insurance, a Contract Project Manager at Fujitsu New Zealand, and an Operations Support Manager at EDS NZ Ltd, where responsibilities included managing release processes and supporting major accounts like Telecom NZ Ltd and Fonterra NZ Ltd. Early career experience also includes significant roles at EDS in both New Zealand and Brazil, as well as foundational positions at Telecom Corporation of New Zealand Limited. Simon's expertise is complemented by strong educational grounding from Whangarei Boys High School.
