Wayne Tippet

Wayne Tippet is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the banking and insurance sectors. Currently serving as Executive General Manager of Claims at IAG since March 2014, Wayne has held multiple leadership positions within the organization, overseeing claims performance and operations, as well as the retail network across New Zealand. Prior to joining IAG, Wayne worked at ANZ from 1997 to 2014, holding roles such as Regional General Manager, responsible for managing four retail banking regions, and District Manager for Business Banking, supporting SME growth across the South Island. Wayne's career at ANZ began in 1986, with positions ranging from Relationship Manager to Retail Banker. Academic achievements include an MBA from Massey University and a New Zealand Diploma in Business from Open Polytechnic of NZ.
