Dieter Hendrickx

Dieter Hendrickx serves as the Head of Prudential Policy Insurance at the National Bank of Belgium since November 2018, leading national activities in insurance prudential policy. In addition to domestic responsibilities, Dieter chairs the IAIS Macroprudential Committee and holds memberships in various international bodies, including the IAIS Executive Committee and the EIOPA Supervisory Steering Committee. Prior roles include Financial Stability Expert at the European Systemic Risk Board and Adviser on Prudential Policy & Financial Stability with extensive contributions to European and international insurance regulations. Education credentials include a Master of Financial and Actuarial Engineering and a Master of Business Engineering from KU Leuven, complemented by a Certificate from the Philosophy Academy.
