August Drake

August Drake has a wealth of experience in engineering and client solutions. Most recently, they have been the Director of Client Solutions and Principal Solution Designer at IAM Robotics since 2021. Prior to this, they were employed at Seegrid from 2017 to 2021, where they held various roles such as Senior Director of Application Engineering, Director of Application Engineering, Application Engineering Manager, Senior Application Engineer, and Application Engineer. Before Seegrid, they worked at GENCO from 2011 to 2017, where they were a Project Engineer and Engineer. As Project Engineer, they provided engineering support throughout the company and was responsible for engineering assistance/management of new business pursuits from the proposal phase through the facility achieving steady state operation. As Engineer, they provided engineering support to both internal and external customers at GENCO ATC, including warehouse layout design, process design and improvement, and data analysis.

August Drake attended the University of Pittsburgh from 2007 to 2012, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Industrial Engineering. August also obtained a certification in Learning Jira Software from LinkedIn in May 2022.
