Alex Trouchine

Alex Trouchine is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Head of Cybersecurity (Sr. Manager) at IAMGOLD Corporation since February 2021. Prior to this role, Alex held the position of Senior Manager of IT Security at Great Canadian Entertainment, where responsibilities included establishing an information security program and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Alex's extensive career also includes a lengthy tenure at Deloitte as an IT Manager, focused on aligning IT practices with industry standards such as PCI DSS and SOC2. Early career experiences involved developing software and database solutions at various companies, as well as mechanical engineering at a state-owned machinery corporation. Alex holds a Diploma of Technical Translator/Interpreter from the Moscow Institute of Foreign Languages and an Honors BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Moscow State Mining University.
