Gilles Ferlatte

Gilles Ferlatte is an experienced mining executive with a robust background in operational leadership within the mining sector. Currently serving as Vice-président exploitations at IAMGOLD Corporation since April 2020, Gilles has held key roles including Directeur Mine Whabouchi at Nemaska Lithium and Directeur général mine Boungou at SEMAFO Inc. Previously, Gilles held multiple vice-presidential positions at IAMGOLD Corporation, overseeing operations across the Americas, and managed projects at Niobec inc. With prior experience at Xstrata Nickel focusing on underground and surface operations, Gilles Ferlatte possesses a comprehensive skill set in mining operations and management. Gilles holds a B.Sc.A. in mining engineering and mineral processing from Université Laval, completed in 1991.
