Noufou Ouedraogo

Noufou OUEDRAOGO is an experienced project manager specializing in tailings storage facilities, currently working with IAMGOLD Corporation since September 2022. Previously, Noufou held the position of Junior Geotechnical, Tailings Engineer at Reminex SA from April 2018 to April 2022, overseeing multiple tailings storage projects across nine mine sites in Morocco and additional sites in Sudan and Guinea. Earlier work experience includes internships in mineral processing, underground mining geotechnics, and geotechnical lab testing, where Noufou gained hands-on experience in design, construction, and monitoring of tailings facilities and conducted mineral processing and geotechnical analyses. Educational qualifications include an Engineering Degree in Hydro-Geotechnical Engineering from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Rabat and two years of undergraduate study in Mathematics at Université Hassan II.
