Karalyn Naiburg has worked in a variety of roles in the food and beverage industry since 1991. karalyn began their career at McNeil Specialty Products in 1991 as a Product Development. In 1992, they moved to Campbell Soup Co. as a Senior Food Technologist. karalyn then became Manager of Consumer Information & Product Liability at Campbell Soup Co. in 1997. In 2000, they held two positions, Quality Systems Manager at Starbucks Coffee Co. and Sr. Manager of R&D at Brown & Haley Chocolates. karalyn then moved to Old Mother Hubbard in 2005 as Director of Quality Assurance and to WellPet LLC in the same year as Director of Quality & Regulatory. In 2012, they became Director of Quality Assurance at The Boston Beer Company and in 2016 they were Director Of Quality Assurance at SunOpta. Currently, they are Sr. Director Quality & Product Development at "I and love and you" pet care since 2022.

Karalyn Naiburg obtained their BS in Food Science from Rutgers University between 1988 and 1992. karalyn then obtained their MS in Quality Assurance/Regulatory Affairs from Temple University between 1995 and 1999.
