Steve Swick

Steve Swick is a nationally recognized cyber expert with over 35 years of military and corporate experience in cybersecurity. They served as the Chief Security Officer at American Electric Power, leading critical cyber and physical security teams for one of the largest power transmission networks in the U.S. Currently, they are a managing director at CI-Discern, providing strategic security consulting and interim CSO/CISO services while serving on advisory boards and committees, such as the Electric Sector Information Sharing and Analysis Center and the Indiana Executive Council on Cybersecurity. Steve is also part of the IANS faculty, sharing their expertise as an executive coach in the field of cybersecurity.
