John Watson has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President, Industry Relations & Business Development at IAPMO since January 2022. From August 2011 to February 2022, they worked as a Manager of Compliance & Sustainability at Elkay Manufacturing. Prior to that, they were the Director of Technical Services at Sloan Valve Company from April 2001 to July 2011. Starting their career at Chicago Faucets in 1989, John worked in the Engineering department until 2001.
John Watson completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration and Management from Elmhurst University, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. Prior to that, they attended Triton College from 1982 to 1985 and earned an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree in Design Engineering, focusing on Mechanical Engineering Related Technologies/Technicians.
