Greg Jackson

Greg Jackson serves as the Cyber Security & Incident Manager at Iarnród Éireann Irish Rail since May 2025. Previously, from May 2015 to May 2025, Greg held several roles at GOAL Global, including Data Security Analyst, where responsibilities included developing and executing a SharePoint audit procedure and enhancing information security architecture for compliance. As an IT Security Administrator, Greg managed the IT Helpdesk team, implemented organization-wide security tools, and addressed escalated security-related tickets. In an earlier role as IT Support Administrator, responsibilities encompassed Office 365 administration and Windows Server management. Greg holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Cyber Security from Technological University Dublin, along with subjects studied including Network Security and Digital Forensics. Currently, Greg is completing a Cisco Networks - CCNA & System Administration - Linux course at TU Dublin Computer Science.
